Senior students are juggling a lot — academic stress, uncertainty about the future and shifting friendships.

Our workshops are designed to meet senior students where they’re at, with tools that build resilience, focus, and emotional regulation in the lead-up to life beyond school.

Dealing with Conflict

Drawn from: Nonviolent Communication (NVC) + Assertive Communication

Conflict shows up everywhere — friendships, families, group chats, sports teams and in the classroom.

This session helps students unpack the unhelpful thoughts that drives conflict and teaches them how to navigate conflict assertively.

Students will learn to:

✔️ Identify unhelpful behaviours that increase conflict
✔️Use assertive communication techniques
✔️ Employ effective conflict resolution strategies

📌 Why it works: Based in NVC principles and assertive communication, students learn how acting passively or aggressively leads to more conflict and how acting assertively leads to greater conflict resolution

Overcoming Procrastination

Procrastination isn’t a time issue — it’s an avoidance strategy.

This workshop helps students understand what they’re avoiding and teaches actionable tools to move through discomfort toward meaningful goals.

Drawn from: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Students will learn to:

✔️ Recognise avoidance patterns
✔️ Develop skills that challenge unhelpful self-talk
✔️ Use practical strategies that helps builds momentum

📌 Why it works: CBT-based strategies that help equip students with practical tools that builds momentum rather than waits for motivation to help overcome procrastination.

Inner Critic

Drawn from: Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) + Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Senior students achieve a lot — but are also highly self-critical.

This workshop helps them develop self-awareness and self-compassion, while still striving for their best.

Students will learn to:

✔️ Spot the difference between motivation and self-judgment
✔️ Challenge distorted self-talk and perfectionism
✔️ Practise emotional regulation and self-kindness

📌 Why it works: Students explore the limitations of self-criticsm and experience self-compassion, a more optimal framework for motivation and self-esteem.
